Asheboro Racquet & Swim Club boasts the area's largest pool (200,000 gallons). It is a Z-shaped pool with a roped-off shallow end and diving/sliding area. The shallow end goes down to a depth of 2 feet. There is a Smith Turbo-Twister slide and two diving boards in the diving/sliding area, which reaches a depth of 12 feet.
In addition, there is a kiddie pool fenced off from the main pool area. Here, younger children can splash and play in a more contained area. Off of the baby pool area is a playground for children under 8. There are rest rooms and changing areas in a building beside the pool.
Just steps away is the Pavilion, which has a snack bar and a sports bar. Beer and wine are available for purchase and a TV is there to watch the big game. There is also a ping-pong table, a foosball table, and a horse shoe pit. This is a wonderful place for families to gather at the end of the day or at the end of a busy week. Relax and unwind by the pool.
